The starting point of the tour is the Segesta Parking – Parcheggio Area Archeologica di Segesta, there’ll be a briefing and then we’ll embark toward the countryside lands of Segesta. Crossing wonderful farmland, we’ll have a first break near the vineyard and the orchard where there will be the possibility to taste seasonal fruit produced on the site, such as black and white grapes, mulberries, pomegranates, melons, figs, and other goodness of nature. Along the road, there will be different breaks where your guide will introduce you to the territory. It will look like to be inside a living Sicilian adventure park. You’ll go through the Pispisa mount exploring coniferous, oak woods, and the typical Mediterranean scrub -which is also rich in kestrels and peregrine falcons. But, more importantly, the mount is located above the Temple, a photo-worthy location where we’ll present you a historical overview. Thanks to a panoramic view you will then be able to admire the temple and the wonderful panorama of western Sicily that goes from the view of the Egadi islands to the Gulf of Castellammare. The Tour of western Sicily finally ends with the return to the starting point. In total it lasts about 2.30hours.
