Bookings are made on behalf of the owner or the title holder of the property at the price stated by CICERONE TOUR srl.
HOW TO BOOK
The Guest must confirm the booking using the online booking form or sending us an email.
PAYMENT METHOD
Payments must be made by bank transfer or credit card using Paypal secure page. In case of bank transfer the property name and booking period must be clearly specified.
PAYMENT & RENTAL VOUCHER
A deposit of 30% is due in order to confirm the booking. The balance is due no later then 30 days before arrival. However, if the balance is not paid within this time limit, Cicerone Tour srl reserves the right to cancel the booking and hold the deposit according to cancellation policy. Full payment is required for bookings confirmed within 30 days prior arrival. Upon receipt of the balance, you can download your rental voucher and driving directions from “My Booking” area. The voucher is personal and valid only for the persons named on the booking form.
MY BOOKING AREA
After the confirmation of your booking, the system will email the pin code to access into “My booking” area. From here you can manage your booking, pay the outstanding balance, purchase any extra service and download your travel documents.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation must be communicated in writing by fax or email. Cancellation will take effect the day this notification is received by us. In accordance with our Regulation, the following penalties will be applied:
- 50% of the total rental price – from 29 to 15 days before arrival.
- 100% of the total rental price –14 days before the arrival.
The rental price does not include cancellation insurance. If for any reason not depending on our will, Cicerone Tour srl is forced to cancel a booking, a similar property will offer to the Guest. If the rate of the alternative accommodation is lower then the price paid by the Guest, Cicerone Tour srl will refund the difference. If the rate of the alternative accommodation is higher than the rate paid by the Guest, no extra costs will be required. If the Guest want to cancel the booking, Cicerone Tour srl will refund the whole amount and no further compensation can be asked by the Guest.
REFUND - COVID POLICY
Just in case of Italian borders closure or national lock down it will be possible to cancel for free your reservation and get the refund. For all the other cases will be applied the standard cancellation policy. We highly suggest you to buy in your country of origin a cancellation policy to cover your reservation.
MODIFICATION BOOKING
It is possible to modify your booking with no extra cost up to 60 days before arrival. After this term it will be request a modification fee of 20% of the rental rate.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Check-in time, as set forth herein, is from 3pm to 10pm. The Guest must communicate the arrival time at least 7 days before arrival. In case of no communication, Cicerone Tour srl is not liable for any delays. A fee of Euro 25,00 will be charged for check-in after 10 pm. The latest check in time is before 12.00 am. In case of delay the Guest is required to inform the owner. Upon arrival the Guest must show the Owner or his/her representative the rental voucher and passport or ID card to enable them to proceed with the necessary registrations. Check-out is scheduled at 10am. A different check-in time must be approved in advance by Cicerone Tour srl.
SECURITY DEPOSIT & EXTRA COSTS
Upon arrival the Guest must pay a refundable security deposit as guarantee for possible damages and/or extra charges which are not included in the rental rate. The deposit is to be paid in € as per the amount indicated on the voucher. The owner or his/her representative has the right to refuse access to the property if the deposit is not paid. In this case the client will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. Security deposit will be refunded at the end of the holiday if no damages are occurred.
In case of early departure (not communicated to the Owner or his/her representative), the Owner reserve the right to hold the deposit and refund it by bank transfer after inspecting the house.
The Guest is liable for house order for all the period if his stay and have the duty to act with respect towards other guests and neighbours. The CICERONE TOUR srl reserves the right to ask the Guest to leave the property without any refund in case of bad and undisciplined conduct targeted to disturb the peace.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE
Only the people indicated at the time of booking shall be authorized to stay at the reserved property. The number of people (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the number of sleeping accommodations indicated in the property description, except in the case of infants (less than 2 years) for whom the client brings a travel cot or requires this service at the time of booking. The Owner or his/her representative will refuse entrance to the property if the number of persons exceeds the number mentioned on the voucher.
PETS
No pet will be accepted if the request was not formulated and validated by Cicerone Tour srl at the time of the booking. Just small-sized and well-behaved pets will be accepted. The Guest should supervise his pets’ behaviour and sanitation. The Guest is liable for any damages caused by the pet. Unless otherwise specified there are no additional fees for pets.
FINAL CLEANING
The final cleaning charge (except for the kitchen corner) is not included in the rental price and must be paid cash upon arrival.
INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE VILLA RENTAL
Normal use of gas, electricity, air conditioning, central heating, water facilities, a weekly change of bed linen, towels, tea towels, wi-fi, unless otherwise stated in the property description. If you book a property with pool, the pool towels are provided.
EXTERNAL MAINTENANCE
The owner or his representative have, if necessary, free access to the property for essential maintenance purposes.
COMPLAINTS
Upon arrival Guest must check the property and sign the handover report. Any complaints must be notified upon arrival.
DUTIES
The descriptions appearing in our property information are accurate and have been done in good faith.
LIABILITY
Cicerone Tour srl does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, or additional expenses incurred by the Guest or any member of the guest’s party regardless of the cause. The Guest is liable for any damages caused to the property by him or his guests. The Guest exempt Cicerone Tour srl from any liability for any damages caused by the Guest or any member of the guest’s party regardless the use of swimming pool (if any). In the event of controversy arising from the booking and the letting, the only place of jurisdiction is Italian Courts with its laws.
AGREEMENT SIGNING PROCEDURE
Both parties of this Agreement acknowledge that this Agreement is expressly and specifically arranged in order to formalize the understanding, as defined above and that it is the result of negotiations by and between both Parties through Internet.
APPROVAL
In signing the present Agreement, both Parties hereto accept the terms and conditions herein contained.
